Random Thoughts while Running.

So after a hectic week of papers and tests, I finally got to go run a few miles. I decided this time out that I wanted to run a real 4 lap/mile track (everyone that hits up Carmichaels indoor track knows what i'm talking about).

Anyhow... As I ran, thoughts came to mind like they always do when I run, and I started to reminisce about running in middle and high school. I began to think about how I would encourage my child in sports. I feel personally that I've gained many useful skills and lessons from sports. With a belief that most children become what their parents expect them to be, the question of how to encourage your child without forcing them to do stuff?

...Also been on the mind is the issue of sharing your thoughts. Do you gain by sharing your thoughts or do you lose by sharing thoughts? This is something I've pondered because it seems that people formulate opinions and want to categorize you (especially with politics). For myself, it seems that your thought process is exactly what the title says it is, a process. But then should you not express your thoughts until you've reached your conclusion or should you share your thoughts in hope to have another person check your thinking. When I say check your thinking I think of it like someone proof reading your paper. Not in hopes to change your thoughts but make sure they are clear and well thought.

Anyways....Random I know.

After the Election thoughts.

This troubles me. No matter who won people think the country is going to hell.

Honestly, Lastnight was an American tradition. More registered Americans participated in this election then in the past 60 years. The process that our founding fathers implemented worked once again. No matter what my personal opionion is, I trust America. America had an election and decided who are ELECTED officials would be.

No matter if I prefer a donkey or an elephant. I will always feel Privildeged and Proud to be an American. The nation has been divided before but it has been when we are unified that we have achieved great things. We have four years ahead of us before we decide again who America thinks should lead our great nation.

America choose lastnight and I plan on supporting that man.
